LIFE Detroit's 4th Anniversary

L.I.F.E. Detroit, the Leather Institute for Education, Detroit will be holding its Fourth Anniversary Party on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15, 2006, at Diamond Jim’s Saloon, 19650 West Warren (at Evergreen), Detroit, MI 48228, (313) 336-8680.

The event will kick off on Friday, July 14. There will be country line dancing and a pre-party beginning at 10 p.m. A Silent Auction will also be held, showcasing a variety of items that you can bid on, donated by local merchants in the Detroit and surrounding areas.

The Anniversary Celebration continues on Saturday, July 15 with a vendors market and educational speakers from 12 p.m.-6 p.m. The Keynote Address on Saturday Afternoon will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will feature local speaker Bob Bender.

Saturday evening will feature an All Clubs and Organizations Dance Party from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. A special local DJ will be on hand, spinning some of the best dance music around.

Friday, July 14

• 10 p.m.- Pre-Anniversary Party- We will have line dancing and be getting together to have some good food and drink.
• "Meet-n-greet" Party beginning at 10 p.m.
• A Silent Auction will also be held, showcasing a variety of items that you can bid on, donated by local merchants in the Detroit and surrounding areas.

Saturday, July 15 – LIFE Detroit’s Fourth Anniversary Party

Afternoon Events

• 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.- Vendor’s Market- Come see vendors from Michigan and neighboring states that will be bringing items for all tastes to purchase.
• 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.- Speakers and Demonstrations- There will be various speakers and demonstrations in areas of kink, leather, and fetish throughout the afternoon. After the speakers are finished, guests will a chance to meet and ask questions.

• 10 p.m. to Close- All Clubs & Organizations Dance Party- $5 entrance fee. We will be holding a dance party for anyone and everyone, including all those groups and clubs in the local and not so local area that make up our Community. A very special DJ will be on hand spinning the best dance music all night long. Come one out, Dance, and celebrate LIFE Detroit’s 4th Anniversary.
