Thank You

This years DARK (Detroit Area Rough & Kinkfest) weekend was a total success and I want to thank everyone who attended! Those who attended truly made the event the success that it was.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was involved with the event. This would include the volunteers who showed up on the Wednesday before the event to set up the hall. This year, it was done in record time! Thanks to the many hands.

Secondly, I would like to thank each and every presenter, and their assistance. It always amazes me at the amount of talent that we have in the Detroit area. And moreover, I think it is nothing less than heroic when an individual is willing to share their talents and passions with others! Thanks to each of you for taking the time to share your passions with our community and making DARK Weekend the quality event that it is.

Next I would like to thank all the vendors who presented their products and advertised in our program. It is always fun when we get to put local business on display and showcase the diversity of business that we have in the Detroit area.

I would also like to take a moment to thank Calvin Pohler, of Pohler Designs, for the awesome graphic work he does, not only for this event, but all of LIFE's events. We are truly gifted to have such a talented person working on our promotional materials.

I would also like to thank Sean, our webmaster. He does an incredible job with our website. We definitely have the best website of any other kink educational group.

I would also like to thanks Lou and Al-Matta Hall. They have always been supportive of LIFE Detroit, as well as the Detroit Leather/Kink Community. They are a breath of fresh air, especially when we hear, almost monthly, of other venues who give in to un-supportive individuals and choose not to make their venues available to kink organizations.

I would also like to thank Angel, who came all the way from St. Louis for out event. It is always a pleasure seeing you, and DARK Weekend would never be the same without your presence there.

In closing, I would like to thank the board members of LIFE Detroit. You all are an incredible group of individuals! Your dedication to the Detroit Area Leather Community is nothing less than heroic. You each have taught me so much over the years. Words cannot adequately describe my appreciation for each one of you.
